A great starting point whether for Lakeside strolls, challenging climbs to the summit of famous peaks or a steamer trip across England’s famous Windermere lake, making The Temperance Inn the perfect place to stay for a car-free getaway to the Lakes. If you are bringing your car, numerous off-site car parks can be found within a 5-minute walk as we do not have an on-site car park.

All rooms feature an ensuite bathroom with shower only, LCD TV, and teacoffee making facilities, and some have views over Loughrigg Fell.
