The rooms are individually decorated, and offer tea and coffee facilities, TV, WIFI and an en-suite bathroom with toiletries. Upon arrival please make your way to The Waterhead Inn, located on the main road before you turn up the bank to The Lakehouse, as this ischeck-in is located.
Traditional Full English breakfasts alongside continental options are served daily at the The Waterhead Inn which is located across the road from The Lakehouse rooms. If guests have booked Room Only, Breakfast can be added for an additional cost. The Waterhead Inn also serves lunch and evening dining options if required. Please note The Lakehouse is across the road from The Waterhead Inn and this is up an incline so may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
Surrounded by scenic walking routes, this recently refurbished Inn is just a few yards from the shores of Lake Windermere. Free parking is available on-site, subject to availability or alternatively, there are chargeable car parks nearby. Ambleside town centre is only a short stroll away for you to explore during your stay or other attractions such as Zip World Windermere are only a short drive away.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:30.
Please note that The Lake House Rooms at The Waterhead Inn is an old Victorian building with no lift. If guests smoke in the rooms, they may be charged one nights accommodation as a penalty.
Upon arrival, guests need to check in at The Waterhead Inn before making their way to their room within the Lake House building, which is a short distance away.
Guests arriving after 20:00 are requested to inform the property prior to arrival. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. It may not be possible to accommodate guests in the same room for each consecutive night of their stay.
